We scan it all. Photos, Photo Albums, 35 mm Slides, Negatives, Scrapbooks, Documents, and Drawings. Every Scanning Project is special to us and we handle this with utmost care.
The oldest Album we scanned was from 1895. We take the time to prepare the albums and photos for scanning, cleaning dust, and correct orientation.

With VDOCS photo scanning services we color-correct each image. Regardless of the age of your photograph VDOCS color correction will provide you a sharp contrast-rich image.

Photo Orientation Correction

Photo Naming and Indexing
RECEIVE YOUR ORGANIZED AND INDEXED SCANS
No extra charge. Please take the time to organize the photos before we scan them for you. This is easier and faster than re-naming the scans later. Put a name tag with your Photos, place it in a ziplock bag, or wrap it with rubber bands. We do the rest and scan your photos with your chosen File Name.

Need immediate access to your scans? No problem. We can share the scans via Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive with you. This provides immediate access to the photos and you don't have to wait for the DVDs and photos to arrive.

Color and Non-Color Corrected Scan Option
Color Corrected Scans:
VDOCS provides Color Correction for all scans. This is great for Display and Re-Print. Color correction changes the original color space of the scanned sRGB image.
sRGB Scan Option:
VDOCS as an option provides you also with the sRGB, the not color-corrected scan. These images have a larger color space. If you want to apply your own color correction, use these images. Please indicate if you need this optional service.
Dust Removal:
On a smaller screen, phone, you normally do not see small scratches or dust. But scanning with 1,200 DPI that you can display your photos on a large screen TV, you will then see all the damages dust, and scratches caused to the image. The high quality shows all imperfections.
We apply our AI-based Dust Removal to every scan. Not 100% perfect, but pretty close.

You need your scans ASAP.
Urgent jobs are normally less than 500 images and we can adjust our production schedule to meet a quick turnaround time. There is a $25 surcharge.
To provide you with the scans immediately after completion we would share the images via Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive. This saves you the return shipping time and you get the scans instantly after they are completed.
